Chaoshan Collection Showcases Hometown Flavors, Penang Food Fair 2024 Concludes Successfully

From December 13 to 15, 2024, ChaoShan Collection made its debut at the Penang Food Expo held at SPICE ARENA, organized by Foodicious. The event offered a unique fusion of Chaoshan flavors with Penang’s local cuisine, delivering a truly Southeast Asian culinary feast to the audience.

From the journey’s start to its arrival, the trip to Penang was filled with surprises and warmth. Walking through the streets of Shantou, the old arcades brought nostalgic memories. Amid the vibrant night market stalls, the blend of Chaoshan flavors and local sounds created a sense of familiarity. Fried noodles, boiled kuay teow, oyster omelets... these small snacks, infused with Chaoshan flavors, tell a story of crossing oceans and evoke a taste of home.

At the expo, we set up a temporary booth, creatively blending Chaoshan seasonings with Penang’s local delicacies. We also introduced a "Fortune Star Lucky Draw" where consumers spending RM30 could participate, along with free gifts of Chaoshan seasonings. The atmosphere was lively, and lucky visitors took home a piece of Chaoshan flavor.
