Chestnut Beef Brisket Pot

【Ingredients】
500g beef brisket
250g chestnuts
2 stalks of spring onion
1 head of garlic
A little Cho Teng fish sauce
A little sugar
A little white pepper powder
Soy sauce (for seasoning)
【Cooking Steps】
1.Boil water in a pot, add beef brisket, sliced ginger, and scallions. Cook until the beef is half done, then cut into chunks.
2.Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry the chestnuts, then add the beef and sear until golden brown.
3.Add cooking wine for aroma, then stir in garlic and shallots. Season with soy sauce and fish sauce.
4.Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients, simmer for 30 minutes. Add chestnuts and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.
5.Adjust seasoning with sugar, then add chili and coriander before serving.
